Blue Origin is accelerating repairs at its LC-36 launch site using a hybrid recovery plan, aiming to restore operations faster after prior setbacks.

Blue Origin is moving up its timeline to restore Launch Complex 36 at Cape Canaveral through a hybrid recovery plan, according to a July 1 report from NASASpaceflight.com. The approach is intended to speed up the pad's return to active use following last month's New Glenn anomaly, which severely damaged the site.

The hybrid plan involves structural repairs and a shift to a new hybrid concept of operations (CONOPS) for future launches. CEO Dave Limp continues to assert that the company aims to return New Glenn to flight before the end of 2026.
