Meta Reportedly Developing Always-Recording "Super Sensing" Smart Glasses
Meta is prototyping smart glasses that continuously record audio and capture photos every few seconds, letting wearers query Meta AI about their surroundings.
According to the Financial Times, raw footage wouldn't be stored or shown to users; instead, extracted metadata would be sent to Meta's servers for AI queries, a design meant to ease privacy concerns.
The project comes as Meta already faces scrutiny over facial recognition features and reports of people being secretly filmed while wearing its existing smart glasses.
